Location: Michigan-Midland
The Dow Chemical Company has an opening for a North America Pricing Subject Matter Expert in its Customer Service organization. This position is located in Midland, Michigan.
Primary responsibilities are:
* Responsible to provide SAP systems and work process expertise for the North American Pricing and Rebate Application/Maintenance sub-process of the Order to Cash processes.
* Act as Consultant for area SME, area businesses and cross-functional partners on price work processes, system, audit and reporting expertise.
* Area responding manager for audits on pricing work process issues.
* Accountable for reviewing, reporting, and implementing price work process and system improvements against OTC Metric Performance and audit findings.
* Provide expertise on leverages and training and Level 2 support for area pricing work processes.
* Partner with GPTL through the Global SME network to identify gaps in MET 1 as well as define and document MET 2 and 3.
* Partner with other Area SMEs and Team Leaders to drive overall Area CS operational excellence.
* Participate in local and global pricing work processes, functional and business forums to share and/or solicit best practices for leveraging.
* Review and obtain proper approvals on business pricing work processes deviations to insure optimization of standard approaches to pricing work process, system, issue escalation and resolution opposite needs.
* Provide Area input to proposed or needed system configuration changes in order to meet business needs.
* Maintain SAP area tables to meet specific area/business pricing design.
* Support the security administration process for the pricing work process and system by reviewing/approving user access to the system.
* Update SAP area tables to grant access to users whenever requested and approved.
* Partner with global and area improve and implementation project leaders on testing of SAP enhancements and new releases on technology in the SDN and SAP.
* Lead the training, mentoring and coaching of the area pricing stakeholders and work processes partners when requested.
* Facilitate training to Area functional/business partners on the pricing work processes, including metrics.
* Charter, sponsor and lead improvements and implementation projects related to pricing work processes and technology.
* Area Work Process Focal Point for implementation of new processes and systems (NEA). Act as Area Work Process Focal Point for implementation of Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures & JVs.
* Initiate Management of Change (MOC) process for any applicable changes made in the internal standard procedures.
Requires: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or Accounting/Finance followed by 5 years of progressive related experience in the field. Must have experience in SAP and Business Objects in Conjunction with SAP.
Must be Six Sigma Green Belt training certified.
A minimum requirement for this U.S. - based position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis (must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident or qualifying Asylee / Refugee).
